Chamber Choir perform at St Paul’s Cathedral

The Chamber Choir from Solihull School have returned to St Paul’s Cathedral to sing Evensong.

The performance saw forty three pupils from the school, fully gowned and singing music from Walmisley and Purcell.

Oliver Walker, Head of Choral Music at Solihull School said: “The Chamber Choir worked incredibly hard under pressure to produce some very moving performances with Purcell’s tricky ‘Remember not, Lord, our offences’ being a highlight for me.

“It was a beautiful service in the most incredible building- we all feel very lucky!”

It’s the third time the choir have been invited to take part in service at the religious site, with their  début back in February 2013.
