For the first time, last term the JS entered the SATIPS Handwriting competition. George Armstrong (now J3H) was runner up in the under 9 age group, and Felicia Xu (now J4B) was highly commended in the under 10 age group. They both received certificates after copying out a poem chosen by the organisers.
