EYFS and Infants - Alice House

Set in beautiful grounds on the Saint Martin’s campus, Alice House (Alice House refers to our pupils in Nursery, Reception, Infant 1 and Infant 2 classes) provides children from 3 to 7 years of age with an abundance of exciting learning opportunities, based on our varied and exciting curriculum.

The happiness and wellbeing of our pupils is paramount, and we pride ourselves on equipping even our youngest pupils with the skills to speak openly and confidently. We establish warm, nurturing and positive relationships between our pupils and their families.

Staff are highly motivated and committed to providing a holistic education to all children where academic, social, emotional, physical and spiritual learning are all valued and promoted. Pupils are placed in small, mixed ability classes, with the majority of their lessons taught by their Form Tutor, which enables strong pastoral relationships to develop. Specialist teaching staff teach Forest School, swimming, Spanish, PE and music lessons. At Solihull we are also committed to providing all children with excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

Pupils move on from Alice House at the end of their time in Infant 2 feeling confident, happy and academically, socially and emotionally equipped for the exciting challenges of life in our Junior School.
