Thirds (Year 7)
The Physical Education and Games programme aims to give all boys and girls a well-balanced series of activities. In Physical Education lessons boys are taught basketball, gymnastics, swimming, cross-country and athletics. On games afternoons rugby and hockey are the principal team games in the Christmas and Easter terms, with cricket in the summer. Girls are taught gymnastics, swimming, basketball, badminton and volleyball in Physical Education lessons and on games afternoons, hockey and netball are the principal team games in the Christmas and Easter terms, with athletics, tennis and rounders in the summer. There are many school teams involved during the week and on a Saturday. Girls and boys are expected to be available if required.
Shells (Year 8)

On games afternoons rugby and hockey are the principal team games in the Christmas and Easter terms, with cricket in the summer. Some pupils will have the opportunity to sail. There are many school teams involved during the week and every Saturday, and boys are expected to be available if required.
