PE
Thirds (Year 7)
All pupils receive two single PE lessons, in addition to a Games afternoon. In Physical Education lessons boys are taught Basketball, Gymnastics, Swimming, Fitness, Badminton and Athletics. On games afternoons Rugby and Hockey are the principal team games in the Christmas and Easter terms, with Cricket in the summer. Girls are taught Gymnastics, Dance, Fitness, Swimming, Badminton and Athletics in Physical Education lessons and on games afternoons, Hockey and Netball are the principal team games in the Christmas and Easter terms, with Tennis and Rounders in the summer. There are many school teams involved during the week and on a Saturday. Girls and boys are expected to be available if required.
Shells (Year 8)

There are many school teams involved during the week and on a Saturday. Girls and boys are expected to be available if required.

In addition, pupils are also given the opportunity to opt for Watersports during games afternoons, once they reach this stage of their school career.
