A Level Art
A Level Art & Design
Students opting for this subject in the Sixth Form will take OCR AS and A2. The course is intended to meet the needs of A Level students who wish to:
- undertake further studies in Art and Design;
- take up careers for which background knowledge in Art and Design is relevant
Potential students should be aware of the demands and commitment required of them in a course of this nature. They will be expected to show independence in keeping and using notebooks on a regular basis. Success at A Level always requires considerable initiative and commitment.
It should be noted that some or all of students' work will or may be selected by the school or examination board for archive purposes. The school has no control over work selected by the examination board. Work selected by the board will not be returned. Provision will be made by the Art Department to loan work to students for application folders, on the strict condition that it is returned.
