The Senior Clarinet Group
While keeping a relatively low profile this year, the group have effectively held up their numbers encouraging new members of grade 6 and above to join. We have tried hard to add culture as well as injecting a little humour to musical events.
Pieces such as New Rag (Joplin) and American Patrol (Meacham) have shown our lighter side while our classical talents were demonstrated by Mozart’s Eine Kleine Nachtmusik. For the final performance of the year we took on Batman! Some members of the audience could have sworn they caught glimpses of the Caped Crusader himself.
