In June 2006, the school Saxophone Group decided to record and release a debut album before many of the group left for higher education.

This album comprises many pieces that hopefully show what a truly versatile instrument the saxophone is. Saxophony as they are now known, recorded 13 tracks over 2 days in professional recording studios near Birmingham. It promised to be a unique experience as some of the pieces have never been recorded in this arrangement of just Saxes.
