Throughout the year, gallery and exhibition visits play a vital role in expanding pupils’ awareness of traditional and contemporary art. An annual event is a visit to the Wirksworth Art Festival in Derbyshire. Other outings have included visits to Pitt Rivers Museum and Museum of Modern Art Oxford, Millennium Point, Sea Life Centre, Compton Verney, Tate Britain, Tate Modern, V & A Museum, The Lowry and Manchester City Art Gallery.
