The Quality of Teaching
The quality of teaching is good. In a significant majority of lessons, teaching ranged from excellent to mostly very good or good in almost equal proportions. Teaching in aesthetic and creative areas and in science is of particularly high quality. No lessons were less than sound.
Expectations are mostly high. Good strategies support the less capable and extend the more able. Methods and approaches are skilfully deployed to challenge and stimulate pupils.
