GCSE Results 2011

Solihull School is celebrating a record-breaking performance in this year's GCSE exams.
A staggering 72 per cent of entries sat by the 118 candidates at the independent co-educational School in Warwick Road achieved A or A* grades.
The School's best-ever GCSE results represented an impressive 11 per cent increase in A and A* grades since 2009.
No less than 30 pupils gained eight A* grades or more - and of these 15 achieved ten or more A*s.
David EJJ Lloyd, Solihull School Headmaster, said: “This has been a tremendous record-breaking year for our GCSE candidates. Their results reflect the tremendous amount of work that both students and staff have put into their education.”

Well over half of our GCSE exam entrants over the past five years have achieved A* or A grades; a figure substantially higher than the national average at that level.
