As well as regularly attending and hosting Oxford University Mathematics Institute Lectures, the Maths Department also provides stimulating and accessible talks featuring guest lecturers from within the department, such as Mr MacArthur’s recent look at ‘The Power of Two’.

The Solihull Science Society has recently launched the first of its student-run lecture series, with Sixth Form students Oliver and Cedric revealing ‘How to live forever’ and introducing the ethical debate about Human Genome Editing.
