Made In Dagenham Musical & Drinks Reception Wednesday 20 March - we were delighted to welcome back former pupils, parents, staff and their families to a drinks reception and a performance of Made In Dagenham. It was a wonderful performance and extremely well attended. 

 

 

 

Evensong at St Paul's Cathedral & Drinks Reception Monday 11 March -The school Chamber Choir returned to St Paul's Cathedral to sing Choral Evensong, pupils gave a magnificent performance in front of an audience of parents, former pupils, Governors, former staff and the general public. Following Evensong, Old Silhillians came together for a drinks reception at The Happenstance Bar. 

Reunion 1984 Saturday 9 March - It was a pleasure to welcome the Class of 1984 back to school for a Reunion. They enjoyed reminiscing about old times and seeing how the school has changed after 35 years. This was followed by a wonderful afternoon tea and an evening at the Silhillians Sports Club.

 

Birmingham Drinks Thursday 7 March - Thank you to our alumni who joined us for Birmingham Business Drinks. It was lovely to see some new faces. Our next Birmingham Event is on Thursday 3 October, please save the date and look out for more details. 

 

 

Opening of the Graham Hughes Room Tuesday 26 February - We were delighted to open The Graham Hughes Room in honour of one of the school's lifelong champions and benefactors. Graham joined the school as a pupil in 1954. He became Chairman of the Governing body from 2005 - 2010. Graham unveiled the plaque in front of his family, friends and school associates. Solihull is so pleased that Graham's generosity and dedication to the school has been recognised in this way.

Oxbridge Dinner Thursday 17 January - Oxbridge current/former pupils and staff came together at the Caledonian Club in London for a most enjoyable evening. The Headmaster welcomed guests, Daniele Harford-Fox spoke about Curriculum 2020 and Ben Perry (Patron of The Silhillian Fund) spoke about the progress of the school, its plans for the future and the purpose and importance of The Silhillian Fund.
