Puffin Magic Foundation - James Gribble

James Gribble is a former pupil of Solihull School and is the creator of the Puffin Magic Foundation.

On 1 November 2008, James became a quadriplegic as a result of an accident in Zambia while travelling around Africa.

While waiting to go Tiger fishing on the mighty Zambezi River, on a very hot day, James merely fainted whilst sitting on a stool, falling backward onto hard sand.

The Puffin Magic Foundation was established soon after James' return to Australia in 2008. Its aim is to harness the personal efforts and financial contributions of the various groups of people who have expressed a desire to provide support to James in a way which will maximize the amount of support that can ultimately be delivered to James.

In addition, The Puffin Magic Foundation aims to support others in necessitous circumstances.

On 11 July 2013, the Puffin Magic Foundation will hold a charity Cocktail Party in London. All former pupils are welcome to attend. Further information can be found here: http://www.puffinmagic.org.au/pg_event.php?evid=63
