How will we store your data?
Your data will be held securely in the school’s Development and Old Silhillians' Office and will be treated confidentially and appropriately at all times.
How will we use your data?
Your data may be used to contact you by any stated method, including email, telephone and mail.
Your data may be made available, if appropriate, to school staff, recognised OSA societies and groups, individuals organising reunions and other events, and third parties for administrative and statistical purposes.
Your data will be used to contact you about a full range of activities, including school and OSA communications, events, benefits and services and fundraising initiatives.
The information we keep is never sold or passed on by us to third parties for purposes unconnected with the school or the Old Silhillians’ Association. We will also never pass on your data in response to requests from individuals, for example, a former classmate. In this circumstance, we will seek your permission prior to passing on any personal information.
Keeping your data accurate
The school and the Old Silhillians’ Association are keen to ensure that data is kept current and accurate. Where it is apparent that the data is no longer valid, the school/Old Silhillians’ Association will take reasonable steps to seek updated information. Members are encouraged to make sure that the School’s Development and Old Silhillians' Office is notified of any changes in data, for example, a change of name, address or contact details.
