Skiing Success for Pupils at Pontypool Competition
Solihull School pupils took part in the British Schools’ Open Championship held in Pontypool.
The Boys and Girls Ski Teams were amongst the youngest team competing, with Helena Newboult became the fastest girl in Britain for the 3rd time.
All our skiers did exceptional and show much promise for the future. One pupil, Bella, went from being a non-skier at the start of term, only two months ago, to completing the course with style and confidence.
There are spots available on the teams, if any pupils are interested and wish to join the Friday Satellite Club training and MSC sessions.
The next competition for our team is the MSC Winter Race League II on Friday 11th December.
