Congratulations to former pupil Simon Everson (Fetherston, left 1984) who has been appointed as the new Headmaster of Merchant Taylors' School.

In an interview with Merchant Taylors' Simon was asked who his inspiration was as a boy, to which he replied, 'No individual stands out as a major influence in my early years at school. As I got older and reached the Sixth Form, the Head Master of Solihull School was a powerful influence.'
