Solihull Day Care is celebrating being named Nursery of the Year for the West Midlands at the prestigious My Local Awards.

The award, which is decided entirely through public voting, recognises the outstanding care, support and educational experiences provided by early years settings across the region. Following the verification of votes, Solihull Day Care received the highest number of nominations within its award category and regional programme, securing its official winner status.

The achievement reflects the strength of support from families, past and present, and the wider local community, while recognising the dedication and professionalism of the nursery's staff team.

Solihull Day Care Nursery Manager Jess Dolan said: “We are incredibly proud to have been named Nursery of the Year for the West Midlands. What makes this recognition particularly special is that it was awarded through public voting, reflecting the trust and support of our families and local community.”

“Every day, our team works tirelessly to create a warm and inspiring environment for the children in our care. This award is a testament to their dedication, passion and commitment. We would like to thank everyone who took the time to vote for us.”

Richard Bate, Bursar at Solihull School and a Director of Solihull Day Care, added: “As part of the wider organisation of Solihull School, Solihull Day Care shares the same commitment to excellence, care and community. We are delighted to see the team recognised in this way and congratulate Jess and her colleagues on this well-deserved achievement.”

Solihull Day Care became a subsidiary of Solihull School on 6 January 2020 and is based on the Solihull Prep School campus.
